Tricare visits are offered in office or virtually only.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments cancelled before 48 hours of appointment time will be refunded the deposit. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or no shows will forfeit their deposit. If you need to reschedule, please do so via the appointment portal.

Due to HIPAA Compliance, appointments that have not completed the consent for care (intake form) by the scheduled visit time are subject to cancellation.

No Show Policy/Fee:

Visits will be given a 15min grace period (in-person or telehealth). After that, visits will be cancelled & need to be rescheduled. All no shows will incur a $50 fee charged to the card on file.

Did you know that if we’re not in-network with your insurance company, you can request reimbursement for our services under the Affordable Care Act? We'll provide you with the documentation you need. The National Women's Law Center has a great toolkit for accessing your right to breastfeeding support under the ACA.

SonShine & Rainbows Lactation is an in network (excluding Medicaid Plans/VA Cardinal Care) lactation provider with Aetna, Tricare, & United Healthcare.

Home visits for Aetna & United Healthcare are subject to a $50 home visit convenience fee.

For all other insurance providers, payment is required via HSA/FSA card or credit card at the time of booking.

We do provide SuperBills, a detailed receipt, so that clients may seek reimbursement from insurance providers.

Reimbursement is a the discretion of your insurance provider. Please verify policy coverage with them.
